Okay so I’ve been dressing “classic” for years but always felt slightly off and couldn’t figure out why — turns out I’m dramatic classic, not pure classic! The structured-but-fluid fabric combo finally clicks for me. I’m going to stop reaching for that flowy chiffon I keep gravitating toward and stick to medium-weight crepe and ponte instead. Also, quick question — does wool-silk blend count as “sharp enough” for DC or is it too soft? Asking because I found an amazing bolt of it at a fabric store in Brooklyn and I reaaaally want to justify buying it.
